TherGlass® Concrete INNER NC-400 penetrates deeply through the capillaries, micro-cracks and pores of the concrete, reacting with the salts and minerals present in it to form an extremely resistant calcium silicate hydride.

TherGlass® Concrete INNER NC-400 does not make treated surfaces hydrophobic, so they can be coated or painted later. If a water-repellent surface is desired, we recommend using a treatment in combination with TherGlass® Concrete TOP HD .

For concrete surfaces that are subject to heavy wear, tear, or aggressive liquids, it is recommended to apply a combined treatment with TherGlass® Concrete INNER HD-600 PLUS , or directly a single one with TherGlass® Concrete INNER HC-850

TherGlass® Concrete INNER NC-400 is certified according to EN-1504-2:2005-Part 2 for the protection and repair of concrete structures for all intended uses in building and civil engineering works, using the impregnation method (I) for principles 1 Protection against penetration and 5 Physical resistance/surface improvement. Factory Production Control Certificate (2+ system) No. 0099/CPR/B15/0097 issued by AENOR, ENAC accredited Control Body No. 01/C-PR356

TherGlass® Concrete INNER NC-400 is a water-based product, contains no solvents, is non-toxic, non-flammable, free of VOCs and also meets the requirements established in RD-140/2003 for use in materials in contact with drinking water.

Specifications and application form

TherGlass® Concrete INNER NC-400 is supplied in 20 kg plastic containers, ready to use, and should not be mixed or diluted with other liquids. Shake the container before use. The surface to be treated must be free of dust, paint, grease, or any other coating that could impair the material's absorption capacity.

Visible damage and cracks (>1.0 mm) must be repaired before applying the treatment. Protect glass, aluminum, and other polished or painted surfaces to prevent abrasion. In case of splashes, wash immediately with water and, if necessary, clean with acid.

Apply with a low-pressure sprayer or impregnation roller; apply two additional coats without waiting for the first to dry, approximately 5-15 minutes between each application, until fully saturated. Apply carefully, as the spray mist can be far-reaching and cause damage to glass.

On horizontal concrete surfaces, TherGlass® Concrete INNER NC-400 can be poured and spread with a rubber broom, brush or polishing mop.

Avoid puddle formation during application and, if necessary, remove any excess; otherwise, shiny or white patches may form, impeding the adhesion of subsequent coatings. Full saturation is achieved after approximately 30-40 minutes.

The temperature must be ≥ +5°C during application and for the following 24 hours. Do not apply in full sun.

TherGlass® Concrete INNER NC-400 dries and crystallizes relatively quickly. Therefore, apply the treatment without interruption to a limited area. Remove any excess with a clean, dry cloth.
