Specifications and application form
Support Preparation
- The support must be strong and stable, free of dust, paint, oil, grease, etc. To do this, it must be cleaned, removing any dust, liquids, flaking, efflorescence residue, and any other substance that could impair good adhesion to the support.
- Damaged concrete areas must be removed to a strong, sound surface; the edges of the repair must be mechanically cut to a depth of at least 4 mm.
- If there are reinforcements affected by corrosion, these will be uncovered until the exposed reinforcement is no longer affected.
- Remove rust from the reinforcements and clean mechanically to a minimum level of Sa2.
- It is recommended to clean with sandblasting, steel bristle brush, mechanical brushing with a needle gun, etc.
- The substrate must be moistened to saturation, without flooding, before applying the mortar.
- To improve adhesion, you can use the Pregunite Pro bonding bridge (in this case, do not wet the substrate).
Mix:
- Mix the powdered product with the indicated amount of water (18%)
- Due to its rapid setting, knead small quantities, for example 1 kg or less with 180 ml of water
- The resulting mass must have a thixotropic consistency.
- Fast setting, do not prepare more than can be used within 20 minutes of mixing.
Application:
- Apply immediately after mixing with a trowel or spatula.
- Fill the gap with mortar and immediately insert the element to be anchored and press firmly to secure the anchor.
- Smooth and/or trowel.
IMPORTANT:
- Do not apply at temperatures below 5ºC or above 35ºC
- Do not apply in conditions of strong winds, rain and/or frost
- Do not add sand, cement or any other product that modifies the original formulation.
- If the product hardens, do not try to apply it again by adding water.
- Avoid breathing dust and contact with skin and eyes.
- Keep the container closed and protected from moisture.
PRECAUTIONS
To ensure that the product achieves the expected properties, it is absolutely necessary to cure the mortar for at least 24 hours after application. To do this, moisten the mortar with sprayed water for 24 hours after application, keeping the plastered surface moist for proper curing.
Cleaning
Cleaning tools and implements: When fresh, they can be cleaned with water. If the material has hardened, it can only be cleaned mechanically.
Dosages and Consumption
The approximate yield is 1.6 kg/m2 per mm of thickness. The indicated consumption is a guideline; however, exact consumption should be determined by taking samples on-site.
