TherGlass Concrete TOP DX Eco

TherGlass® Concrete TOP DX eco is a water-repellent compound based on silicon nanoparticles that react with each other, forming a three-dimensional grid without clogging the pores, thus allowing the diffusion of water vapor and creating a water-repellent effect that draws away the dust accumulated on the façade, causing a self-cleaning effect.
It is a high-quality, colorless, general-purpose water-repellent impregnant, used as a hydrophobic water repellent for the impregnation of highly porous and absorbent minerals, as well as non-porous and highly alkaline substrates, achieving a pearlescent effect after 24-48 hours.
Specifications and application form
TherGlass® Concrete TOP DX eco is supplied ready to use and should not be mixed or diluted with other liquids. Shake the container before use.
Substrate: The surfaces to be treated must be dry. Wait at least 24 hours after rain, or if necessary, wait 3 days after cleaning with pressurized water. They must also be clean, removing any weak adhesion by brushing, avoiding the use of surfactants. Fill any cracks larger than 0.3 mm. For newly worked surfaces, we recommend waiting a month before applying the treatment.
Application: It can be applied by brush, roller, sprayer, gun, or airless spray. For very porous surfaces, a second coat is necessary as soon as the gloss of the first coat disappears, and always wet-on-wet, until the substrate is saturated. In general, two applications are sufficient for most substrates.
Precautions: Before applying, be sure to cover doors, windows, and other non-absorbent surfaces, as the product cures so quickly that it will be extremely difficult, if not impossible, to remove after just a few hours. Clean splashes on window panes immediately, using a solvent if necessary.
Cleaning: Fresh tools and implements can be cleaned with water. If the material has hardened, they can only be cleaned mechanically.
